We head into the Galician interior to experience the pure essence of motocamping. This time we leave the coast behind to discover the brutal Ribeira Sacra, looking down 130-meter drops at the Belasar reservoir and clearing our way through overgrown trails. One of us got a bit too confident with the GPS, trying to play the new sherpa of this motorcycle trip, but between the improvised shortcuts and branches to the face, we almost ended up throwing hands in the middle of the woods.

The off-road route put us to the test with near-freezing temperatures at almost 1,000 meters altitude and allergies that are absolutely kicking our asses. Plus, we made a stop at an abandoned church near old Portomarín, a village swallowed by the water. What promised to be just a simple ruin left us with a super sketchy vibe (there was even a possessed Santa Claus inside!). Once at camp, it's time to pitch the new tent for the first time to get plenty of room for all our gear from the Ténéré 700 and CRF300L without suffocating.

And like any good dual-sport adventure, we wrapped up the day with the legendary Ferreiro special: camp-stove tuna rice and an incredible sunset that made up for all the hardships. And as a bonus, a solid wipeout while setting up camp!

We were enjoying the warm weather, struggling up rocky climbs, and dodging ruts when, out of nowhere, disaster almost struck right on the edge of the cliff. It's a miracle we didn't go flying! That's the thing about off-road riding—one split second of distraction and you're going over the edge.

But don't worry, it wasn't all suffering and tension in this video. After sweating bullets battling the bikes, we found the Natural Pools of Río Pedras. A quick dip in the cool, crystal-clear water completely revived us to keep eating up the miles.

Plus, we managed to settle some unfinished business and headed back to the Mirador de A Curota, but this time WITHOUT the fog that ruined the views for us in winter! Seeing the Ría de Arousa and the Corrubedo Dunes from up there, surrounded by semi-wild horses (we'll tell you a bit about the famous Rapa das Bestas), is one of those things that reminds you why we love motorcycle adventure and life on the road so much.

No worries. Today, we're getting our hands dirty to show you how to change and fix a motorcycle tire right on the trail, using only the tools we carry with us.

In this video, we share all our best tricks to save you some serious pain when doing trailside maintenance: from how to lift the bike using a simple stick (trail stand), to our favorite (and most fun) method for breaking the bead using the kickstand of another bike. We also explain why we use silicone spray, the trick of leaving the tire in the sun to soften it, and a vital old-school tip to avoid ripping the inner tube valve stem out if the tire spins while riding off-road.

As always, while one of us does all the hard work wrestling with the tire irons, the other critiques, cheers him on, and films. That's what traveling with your brother is all about! The reality of motocamping, off-road riding, and overland travel is that bikes take a beating, things break, and you have to know how to fix them yourself to keep racking up those miles.

If this trailside mechanic tutorial helped you out, or if you just like watching us solve problems on the road, hit the like button and don't forget to subscribe. Leave your own trail-mechanic tips in the comments, or let us know if you've been making that classic valve stem mistake!

Today we’re switching things up and diving into history, but without leaving out the mud, the engines, and our beloved Trans Euro Trail (TET).

We start by exploring Galicia's military past at the impressive Cabo Prior battery, an abandoned complex swallowed by nature that once housed giant cannons. They fired shells weighing as much as 5 Yamaha Ténéré bikes 35 kilometers away! Absolutely insane.

After being blown away by the tunnels and the ocean views, we head straight off-road looking for some epic shots. But you know how it is when two brothers start competing on the trail: we promised adventure and almost ended up off a cliff. Massive ruts, deep mud, and the stress of not wrecking the bikes pushed us to the limit. Quoting Valle-Inclán before an extreme route probably wasn't our best idea...

We finished the day covered in mud at Estaca de Bares, discovering a US Cold War LORAN military base, totally abandoned since 1991. Empty barracks, trashed kitchens, and... a squash court in the middle of nowhere?

If you love extreme motorcycle travel, exploring abandoned places, and watching two brothers suffer (but laugh) in the mud, this video is for you. Join us on this crazy ride!

Our bad habits off-road were finally catching up with us, so we decided to fly to Gran Canaria for an intensive 4-day course at Motoescuela Cora (Canarias Off-Road Adventures) with our trusted instructor, Josías.

It’s my brother’s first time on a pure enduro bike, and my third time trying to survive these classes. Between some pretty gnarly crashes (yeah, there was one where we got a real scare and he ended up pinned under the bike), millimeter-perfect body position corrections, and the infamous "Chinese torture spring" for balance, I can promise you we worked our butts off. We went from being total rookies to finally understanding why pro riders look like they’re dancing with the bike when they hit obstacles.

But it wasn't all suffering on the track: we spent our free afternoons exploring and discovering some incredible spots on the island. We visited the Barranco de las Vacas (our own little Canarian Antelope Canyon), walked barefoot through the therapeutic Maspalomas dunes, and were blown away by the spectacular stone church in Arucas.

We finished the trip absolutely wrecked, covered in bruises, and stuck with a delayed flight at the airport—but we left with the foundation we need for our next extreme adventures around the world. Next week we’re back on the trails in Galicia to put everything we’ve learned into practice!

We’re at our limit, the tents are soaked every morning, and our bodies are screaming for a break, but the trail still had a few surprises up its sleeve.

In this fifth and final chapter of the trip, we tackle the "spicier" sections of ACT Portugal, try to survive the mud traps, and nearly face a real disaster when a stick decides to aim straight for the goggles during a fall.

Plus, we blast through river crossings (ending up completely soaked), eat plenty of dust—standard sibling rivalry and sneaky overtakes—and realize we made a massive rookie mistake: traveling without cash through remote Portuguese mountain villages!

We wrap up this incredible motocamping and dual sport trip at the historic 12th-century Algoso Castle, squeezing through tiny gates and saying goodbye to the magical Trás-os-Montes region before heading back toward Galicia.

It’s been an incredible ride full of mud, broken bikes, laughs, survival, and the best company. If you love world travel, the ADV rider lifestyle, and unfiltered motorcycle adventures, you’re in the right place!

We're heading deep into the mountains to explore Drave, the most remote village in all of Portugal. A place completely cut off, with no electricity or internet, it's been uninhabited since 2000 and now serves as a headquarters for the scouts. The views are incredible, but getting in and out... that's another story.

Today's off-road adventure really put us to the test. The trails closed in until they became a literal jungle that battered us from all sides (and even drew blood!). Between the wrecked terrain, getting distracted watching each other, and a bit of bad luck, we had our fair share of drops. Yeah guys, the off-road route caught up to us and I ended up bending the bike after a hard hit. Luckily the fender held up and so did we.

To top off the day: bug attacks straight to the throat mid-ride, the smell of manure, and the epic search for our wild camp to spend our last night in the wilderness. And keep an eye out for today's survival hack in 'Cooking with the Ferreiros': how to sauté an onion in the mountains using the oil from a tuna can. Spoiler: looks like neither of us is getting married anytime soon. 🥀💔

But the real adventure came later: we went to visit the famous 516 Arouca suspension bridge and it was CLOSED! What did we do? Exactly what any adventurous brothers would... a bit of parkour to sneak in and enjoy the best views of Portugal from over 175 meters up. 🌉👀 Some Germans even tried to copy us (without much success).

We ended the day camping our way and cooking our legendary tuna rice. We used the bridge's security booth to 'borrow' some electricity and charge our batteries. Survival and motocamping at its finest!

To relax, we decided to head out and look for our early retirement at the incredible Tresminas mining complex. No less than 20 tons of pure Roman gold were extracted from these tunnels. Will we find a forgotten nugget to buy that yacht?

Besides fighting our own claustrophobia by squeezing into some sketchy holes, we failed epically at finding bats, completely misinterpreted a "zona de caça" sign (yeah, our minds went straight to the gutter), and rode through the amazing Douro vineyard region until we reached the insane Ujo viewpoint, with spectacular views of the Tua River.

And of course, we ended the day in the middle of nowhere cooking our legendary signature dish: pasta with chorizo. It never fails! 🍝

Today we've got something mind-blowing for you. We headed to As Pontes to explore the largest land vehicle on the entire peninsula: a giant abandoned Bucket-wheel Excavator that used to work in the lignite mine. 😱

It stands 40 meters tall and is a true steel beast. We got right inside (literally, we even found a first-aid kit from 2001 and vintage underwear 😂) and tried to "start it up" from the control cabin. The views from the top are spectacular and the structure is incredibly imposing.

After the urban exploration (URBEX), we grabbed the bikes to ride a section of the TET through the area and finished the day relaxing in the beautiful Fragas do Eume. 🌿
